option for individual discount codes/coupons

Customers can use their own individual discount code or coupon to be applied during checkout. These are "codes/coupons" that the owner has previously entered into the storefront. so when the customer redeems the code, it matches to what the owner/admin had inputed and gets discounted properly.

I was just coming here to request this option. I have given out gift certificates in the past and would love for my customers to be able to use them!!
I was coming here to see if this option is available and I guess it isn't. I would love to see this option, as I give out coupon codes often.

if individual discount codes not available at least have a category discount available ! sometimes we have lines to clear and would like to offer more discount but not to the whole store ! Please help ...
Agreed! It is super important to be able to give selected people/groups discounts using discount codes!
Very Important for my business being that I offer different promotional discounts at Trade shows!!

Definitely definitely NEED this!! I didn't realise Payvment didn't have this, and I need it to run my business. Might have to find another app :(
